The UK Coalition on Older Homelessness

The Coalition is a UK lobby group of housing and homelessness agencies concerned with raising the profile of older homeless people in the UK.

The work of the Coalition is now being carried out by the Coalition Project based at Homeless Link with funding from Help the Aged and the Housing Associations Charitable Trust.

The Coalition is working towards better recognition of older homeless people in Supporting People strategies. A report has been published which explores the opportunities for older homeless people under Supporting People.

The Coalition actively promotes specialist services for older homeless people. This section describes tailored services that can be developed to meet the local needs of vulnerable older homeless people.
